Our Values

The following describes our affirmative action and drug-free workplace policies. These policies have been adopted by all team members to promote a productive work environment.

Affirmative Action Policy

It is our policy to provide equal employment opportunity and affirmative action to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, handicap or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran, ancestry, lifestyle preference, medical condition, or marital status and to base all employment decisions so as to further these principles of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action. The policy reflects the attitude of this office toward the principle of equal employment opportunity, and that it is the obligation of each individual to conduct himself or herself in conformity with the principle of equal employment opportunity at all times. All employment activities including but not limited to hiring, promotion, demotion, transfer, recruitment, advertising, layoff, discharge, rate of pay, and selection for training, are conducted without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, handicap or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran, ancestry, lifestyle preference, medical condition, or marital status.

Our success as a professional service organization requires that we maintain a rich diversity of personnel able to render excellent service to the public and private sectors. Our policy of affirmative action to advance the principles of equal employment opportunity has the effect of supporting that goal by enlarging our talent pool. The policy of the firm is to seek and employ men and women of skill, integrity and enthusiasm and to provide them with the means to develop professionally, without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, handicap or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran, ancestry, lifestyle preference, medical condition, or marital status.

Drug-Free Work Policy

It is our policy to provide employees and clients with a working environment that is free of the problems associated with the use and abuse of drugs and alcohol. The non-prescriptive use, sale, possession, distribution, manufacture, or transfer of controlled substances at the workplace, or elsewhere during working hours, is strictly prohibited. Partners and employees are expected to be in such mental and physical conditions as will permit them to perform their assigned tasks in a professional and competent manner. Inability to meet these standards will result in disciplinary action.

We also strongly condemn the use, sale, possession, distribution, manufacture, or transfer of controlled substances during non-working time. Such conduct is specifically prohibited under this policy during non-working time and on firm or client property to the extent that such use impairs the ability of the employee to perform their job or that it affects our reputation with the general public or threatens the integrity of the firm.
